Derek Lee

Derek Lee is the Clinical Director of Murray Hill location. Derek received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. During both his undergraduate and doctoral education, he worked as a teaching assistant in the human anatomy lab. While at TWU he gained experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient sports and orthopedics.

During Derek’s clinical education he treated patients of all ages with a variety of operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions. He also had the opportunity to work with overhead athletes at every experience level return to their respective sport. Derek has a passion for working with his patients to create a personalized exercise program and empowering them to achieve their goals. He has interests in pain neuroscience education, functional strengthening, as well as falls and sports injury prevention.
