Mike Reed

Mike Reed is an experienced professional in solar energy development, currently serving as the Director of Development at Spearmint Energy since January 2024. Prior to this role, Mike held positions as Senior Development Manager at Vesper Energy and Lightsource bp, where responsibilities included managing solar project development. Mike began a career at Community Energy, focusing on utility-scale solar development, and has comprehensive experience in projects ranging from 2MW to 100MW. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University in 2009.
