Jim Coston

Jim Coston has a diverse work history that spans multiple industries. Jim began their career as a school teacher for Hillsborough County Public Schools in 1977. After working in education for a few years, they transitioned to sales roles in the roofing supply industry, starting with West Coast Roofing Supply in 1980 and then moving to TampaBay Roofing Supply in 1983. In 1986, they became the Branch Manager of Gulfeagle Supply in Tampa, where they worked until 1995. From 1995 to 2002, Jim was a partner at Suncoast Roofers Supply. In 2002, they briefly served as the President of Manufacture Representative Alliance before joining Owens Corning as a Regional Manager for Trumbull Asphalt Products in 2004. Jim then became a partner and Executive Vice-President at Phoenix Sales, Inc. from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a District Manager at JGA Beacon. Jim'smost recent position was as the Southeast Regional Vice President at SPEC Building Materials, a role they held from December 2014 onwards.

Jim Coston attended the University of Tampa from 1977 to 1979, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Prior to that, from 1974 to 1976, they attended the University of South Florida, but it is unknown whether they completed a degree or studied any specific field during that time.
