Peter Beale-Delvecchio

President & CEO at Special Olympics Illinois

Peter Beale-DelVecchio has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Peter is currently serving as the President and CEO of Special Olympics Illinois, where they work towards enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities through sports and community support. Prior to this, they were the Interim President and CEO of Unity Parenting & Counseling, responsible for managing various government-funded programs and services. Peter also worked as a Consultant and later Chief Executive Officer at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, where they oversaw a wide range of programs and led a team of staff members. Peter has experience in nonprofit organizations, having served as the Executive Director of Boys Hope Girls Hope International and as a Director of Development at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Inspiration Corporation. Peter also played a role in the Cristo Rey Network. Earlier in their career, Peter held a leadership position at Ss. Faith Hope & Charity Parish, where they managed administrative services and youth ministry.

Peter Beale-DelVecchio obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued further education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Organizations/Non-Profit Management from 2001 to 2004.
