Olivia Mears is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant at Ascension since June 2023. The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the state of Michigan. Athletes are given continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness and athletic skill, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
