Volunteer With West Metro Warriors at Special Olympics Minnesota

Melanie Winters is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, design, and community service. As the owner of Pixel Loon since April 2016, Melanie specializes in logo design, brand development, web/mobile design, and marketing strategy. Melanie has been a dedicated volunteer coach for the West Metro Warriors delegation of Special Olympics since 2011, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. Previously, Melanie served as a mathematics teacher at Watertown-Mayer Public Schools and Parnassus Preparatory School, focusing on integrating technology into lessons and fostering student engagement. Additionally, Melanie contributed to the governance of DIFFERbilities Experience as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and held volunteer roles with Make-A-Wish Foundation, enhancing marketing efforts and granting wishes to children. Melanie holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Middle School Math Specialty from the University of Minnesota.
