David Solo

David Solo is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management and development, currently serving as the President and CEO of Special Olympics Northern California since June 2015, overseeing a team that includes 26 board members, 61 staff, and over 15,000 volunteers. Previously, David held similar leadership roles at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Marin and Petaluma, where policies and councils were established, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, focusing on development and fundraising. With a career spanning several key positions in various Boys & Girls Clubs, David has demonstrated a consistent ability to drive organizational growth and engage community stakeholders. Educational credentials include a BA in History from Willamette University and an AA in General Studies from Walla Walla Community College.
