Hieu Kha is an experienced Program Manager and Social Event Coordinator at Reside Residential Care, where responsibilities include overseeing supported living staff and maintaining therapeutic environments for individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition, Hieu has dedicated over a decade to Special Olympics Oregon as a coach and Fundraising Manager, focusing on year-round sports and fundraising efforts for athletes with intellectual disabilities, including serving as head coach for multiple sports. Hieu's earlier experience includes teaching at Sugarplums Dayschool for toddlers through preschool. Educational achievements include an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Mt. Hood Community College and ongoing studies toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration at Portland State University.

Special Olympics Oregon serves the largest disability population in the state and this year they will celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Special Olympics Oregon provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
