Megan McCloskey is a seasoned professional currently serving as Program Director for Junior Leadership Development & Workforce Marketing at SEI, where responsibilities include managing programs and initiatives related to Workforce Development and serving as Vice President of the SEI Women's Network. Previous roles at SEI include Program Manager and Global Communications Specialist, emphasizing brand awareness and media presence. Megan is also a dedicated volunteer coach for the Montgomery County Special Olympics Track & Field team and has held advocacy roles such as Big Ten Student-Athlete Voting Representative within the NCAA. A former student-athlete and Team Captain at Penn State University, Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Business, having also served as President of the Penn State Student Athlete Advisory Board.

The Mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
