Kelly Long is an accomplished administrative professional with extensive experience in various roles within educational and organizational settings. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant and UCS Assistant at Special Olympics Virginia, Inc. since August 2017, Kelly has also held the position of Program Administrator at Melinas Dance Company - Darby’s Dancer since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Attendant and Personal Care Taker at Private Public Partnerships/Consumer Direct since June 2015, as well as Head Receptionist at Melinas Dancing Garden from September 2018 to March 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Birthday Party Hostess & Consultant at Melina’s Dancing Garden from June 2015 to August 2017. Kelly Long is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at William & Mary, expected January 2024 to December 2025, and holds a degree in Business Management from George Mason University, completed in 2022.

Headquartered in Richmond, Special Olympics Virginia has a network of eight offices that support athletes, families and volunteers in school and community-based programs across the state.
