Dan Thomsen

Dan Thomsen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both energy efficiency and community service. Since January 2009, Dan has served as the President of Building Doctors, a home performance contracting company focused on enhancing energy efficiency and overall comfort for residents in Southern California. In addition to this role, Dan has been the Volunteer Program Director for Special Olympics since March 1998, where coaching and mentoring athletes in Los Angeles is a core responsibility. Educationally, Dan holds a Master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from West Virginia University.
