Károly Mirnics

Károly Mirnics is currently the Director at Special Olympics. Prior to that, they were a Senior Fellow of Vanderbilt Institute for Integrative Biosystems Research and Education (VIIBRE) from July 2006 to July 2016. Before that, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh from January 2000 to August 2006.

Károly Mirnics has a PhD in Biological Psychiatry from Semmelweis University, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Medicine from Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, and a High School diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from "7th April" Medical Gymnasium. Károly also has a High School diploma from Mosa Pijade Gymnasium and an Elementary School diploma from Sonja Marinkovic Osnovna Skola.
