Stephen Carter

Stephen Carter is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in executive management and board governance. Since March 2020, Stephen has served as an Independent Member of the Board of Directors at Copperweld Bimetallics LLC. Additionally, Stephen has been a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Finance and Risk Committee for Special Olympics International since 2001, contributing to the organization's mission of supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports. Stephen's previous roles include Board Director at CEB from 2007 to May 2017, and President & CEO of Superior Essex from 2003 to 2013, where significant company transformation took place. Prior to that, Stephen held the position of President and CEO at Cingular Wireless from July 2000 to December 2002 and at SBC Wireless from 1998 to September 2000, overseeing substantial operational and brand integrations.
