George Chen

George Chen has been working as an Optical Engineering Manager at Special Optics, A Navitar Company since August 2015. Prior to this, George worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester from January 2014 to July 2015. George holds a Master's Degree in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor's Degree in Optoelectronic Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. George has extensive experience in designing microscope systems for life science and quantum physics, as well as modeling and analyzing optical systems using software like LightTools and Zemax. Additionally, George has worked as a Teaching Assistant for Radiation & Detectors at the University of Rochester.
