Erica Juhn has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Erica most recently served as the Co-Director of Research & Evaluation at Special Service for Groups since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked in various positions within the Research & Evaluation Division of the same organization, including Senior Researcher, Senior Research Analyst, and Research Analyst, starting from 2014.
In 2014, Erica worked as a Program Coordinator at Guidant Group, where they organized a community-wide forum on cancer survivorship best practices and facilitated activities related to cancer survivorship.
Before that, Erica held an intern position at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center - Patient Education and Community Outreach Center from 2010 to 2011.
Erica also gained experience at UCLA AANCART, where they worked as a Project Assistant from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they served as a patient navigator and case manager, participated in planning community outreach events, and conducted various tasks related to colorectal cancer prevention.
Additionally, Erica worked as a Language Access Campaign Coordinator at Korean Resource Center in 2009 and as a Legal Assistant at Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) from 2002 to 2006.
Erica Juhn obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Community Health Sciences (Public Health) at UCLA, from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they earned their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Asian American Studies from UCLA, where they studied from 2007 to 2012.
