Shawnia Elder

Shawnia Elder is a bilingual speech and language pathologist with extensive experience in providing speech and language services across various settings, including home health, schools, and clinics. Currently serving as a Bilingual Speech & Language Pathologist at Elder Healthcare Consulting, LLC, since December 2018, Shawnia has also been involved with Specialized Assessment & Consulting since August 2018, where responsibilities include conducting speech evaluations and consulting with educational teams. Previous roles include positions at Speech and Language Connection, RiverKids Pediatric Home Health Therapy Agency, and MedCare Pediatric Group, demonstrating proficiency in treating a wide range of speech and language disorders and mentoring other professionals. Shawnia holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Austin College.
