Cnim Ankit Patel

Ankit Patel, CNIM, has extensive experience as a Surgical Neurophysiologist, currently serving in the role of Surgical Neurophysiologist III at Specialty Care since May 2017. Previously, Ankit worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital from February 2015 to May 2017, where responsibilities included monitoring various neurophysiological functions during surgical procedures and conducting diagnostic testing. Ankit is proficient in utilizing Nihon Kohden and Nicolet Endeavor programming and has a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Prior experience includes serving as a Direct Care Provider-EMT at New River Valley Community Services, providing critical support in a mental health crisis facility, and working as a Leasing Consultant for HHHunt Corporation. Ankit holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2014.
