Dr Fawzi al-Hammouri

Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri serves as the Honorary President and President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council since October 2015. Involved with the Jordanian High Health Council and Jordanian Nursing Council as a Board Member since December 2012 and May 2012 respectively, Dr. Al-Hammouri also holds Board Member positions at the Jordanian Air Ambulance Center and the Healthcare Accreditation Council, and serves as Vice President at the latter since March 2017. As Chairman of the Private Hospitals Association Jordan since April 2012, Dr. Al-Hammouri has aimed to enhance the advocacy for private hospitals and promote Jordan as a leading medical tourism destination in the MENA region. Additionally, Dr. Al-Hammouri has been the General Manager and CEO of Specialty Hospital since May 1999, achieving notable recognition and accreditation for the facility through a focus on quality improvement. Dr. Al-Hammouri earned a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians in London, specializing in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology from 1986 to 1993.
