Daniel Byrd Jr

Daniel Byrd Jr has extensive experience in information technology and security, currently serving as a Senior Information Security Analyst at Specialty Systems, Inc since May 2015. As the owner of Byrd Engineering, LLC since November 2006, Daniel operates a freelance consulting business focused on IT design, networking, and fault isolation. Prior roles include Principal System Architect and Network Engineer at CACI Technologies, where leadership in the Information Operation Cyber-Laboratory was provided, and Systems Software Architect on the GuardRail Common Sensor project. Daniel began their career as a Software Engineer/Analyst at Ilex Systems and has held various technical positions since then. Educational credentials include a BSAST in Electronic Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University and an AAS in Electronic Engineering Technology from Ocean County College.
