Cheryl Wiggins, AuD, D.ABNM, CNIM has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of neurophysiology and intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). Cheryl is currently working at SpecialtyCare as the VP of IONM Education and Clinical Performance since May 2016. Prior to this role, Cheryl worked as a Surgical Neurophysiologist at SpecialtyCare from June 2015 to May 2016.

Before joining SpecialtyCare, Cheryl worked at Physiologic Assessment Services as a Neurophysiologist from January 2014 to December 2014, where they served in a remote capacity.

From October 2011 to December 2013, Cheryl worked at SpecialtyCare, Inc. as a Market Manager for IONM.

Cheryl began their career at Surgical Monitoring Associates in 2003, where they held multiple roles. Cheryl started as a Fellow/Associate Neurophysiologist from July 2003 to January 2007, then transitioned to the role of Clinical Coordinator from January 2007 to January 2010. In their final role at the company, Cheryl again served as a Clinical Coordinator from January 2010 to October 2011.

Cheryl Wiggins, AuD, D.ABNM, CNIM, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Towson University in 1999. Cheryl then pursued further education and received their Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the University of Louisville in 2003.

In addition to their educational achievements, Cheryl Wiggins has obtained several certifications. In 2004, they received Certification in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) from The American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists, Inc. In 2005, they became an Audiologist certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2007, Cheryl Wiggins received the Diplomate of the American Board of Neurophysiologic Monitoring (D.ABNM) from The American Board of Neurophysiologic Monitoring.

During 2014, Cheryl Wiggins obtained several state-level certifications as an Audiologist, including the State of Florida, State of Delaware, State of New Jersey, and the New York State Department of Labor. Additionally, in January 2018, they completed the ABRET Recognized NIOM Program, though the institution is not specified.
