Jim Jenson is an experienced aquatic biologist with a robust background in toxicology testing and management. Currently serving as an aquatic biologist at SpecPro Professional Services and Badger Technical Services since 2019 and 2018 respectively, Jim raises aquatic organisms for research purposes. In addition, Jim manages a security contract at the EPA lab in Duluth, MN, through Archangel Protective Services, where oversight of five employees is required. Previous roles include extensive experience in raising aquatic species and conducting toxicity tests at EMR Inc. and various positions at the EPA, Wison Environmental Inc., and other organizations. Educationally, Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UW River Falls, obtained in 1984.

SpecPro Professional Services (SPS) is a SBA 8(a) program participant (March 2015) and Alaska Native Corporation (ANC), focused upon delivering top-quality Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) services to Federal Agencies of the U.S. Government. SPS is part of the Government Services Group under the Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) Government Services portfolio of subsidiaries. SPS is able to accept sole source / directed source contracts from Federal Agencies of up to $22M in total contract value (as a tribally-owned 8(a) small, disadvantaged business).
