Peter Grunow is a dedicated professional in the field of natural resources and wildlife biology, currently serving as the Natural Resources Program Manager and Wildlife Biologist at SpecPro Professional Services since November 2019. With extensive experience, Peter has been a Colonial Waterbird Surveyor for the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory since March 2012 and previously worked as a habitat restoration ecologist and citizen scientist volunteer at the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex from November 2012 to November 2017. Peter notably designed a pioneering fungi citizen science program at the refuge, making significant contributions to ecological research in the San Francisco Bay Area. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from California State University - East Bay.
