Barry Davison

Barry Davison (MCIPD) currently serves as the Head of Learning and Development at Specsavers since July 2023. Prior experience includes leading the Learning and Organisational Development at Vision Express from August 2021 to July 2023, where Barry enhanced learning strategies for over 6,000 employees, contributing to reduced staff turnover through tailored development pathways. Barry has also held significant roles in various organizations, including Board Trustee for Imara CIO, Head of Learning and Development at Staffline Recruitment Limited, and Senior L&D Consultant at Smart Resourcing Solutions. Barry's early career includes extensive experience at John Lewis Partnership in various roles that encompassed learning & development management and human resources. Barry possesses an ICF Accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching, a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Certificate in Personnel Practice.
