James West has extensive experience in business development, currently serving as the Head of Business Development Canada at Specsavers since June 2005. In this role, James is responsible for expanding the international business through new store openings and managing the existing portfolio of stores. Prior to Specsavers, James held several positions at Christies Restaurant from January 2000 to June 2006, ultimately becoming the Head of Business Development and Business Transfer Services for Northern Europe. James began as a restaurant manager and progressed to regional head of business development for the Netherlands and Finland. Education was completed at Helston VI Form College from 1995 to 1997.
