Jason Holdstock

Jason Holdstock has extensive experience in technical support and application management, currently serving as the Application Support Lead and Splunk Dashboard Engineer at Specsavers since August 2018. Prior to this role, Jason held positions at Smoothwall from June 2009 to August 2018, including Principal Support Engineer, where responsibilities included 3rd/4th line engineering and managerial duties, as well as Senior Technical Support Engineer and Senior Support Engineer roles. Earlier in the career, Jason worked as a 2nd line Operations Engineer at Amicus ITS from June 2004 to September 2008. Academically, Jason earned a BSc(Hons) in Computer Network Management from Solent University from 2001 to 2004, following earlier education at Taunton's College and Mount Batten School.
