Ted Leng

Co-Founder, Director at Spect

Ted Leng is the Co-Founder and Director of Spect, a company that specializes in ophthalmic imaging and algorithmic interpretation. Prior to their current position, Ted served as the Director of the Stanford Medicine Alumni Association and as a research fellow for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Ted earned their medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine.

Ted Leng has an MD from Y Combinator, and has also completed the Stanford Leadership Development Program at Stanford University School of Medicine. Ted is currently a Fellowship and Postdoctoral Scholar in the field of Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, and has also completed residencies in Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. In addition, they have taken the Intensive Course in Clinical Research: Study Design and Performance at Stanford University School of Medicine. Ted also holds an MS in Biological Sciences - Neuroscience from Stanford University, as well as AB/BS degrees in Women's Studies, Microbiology, Native American Theirtory, and Philosophy (HPS)/Biological Sciences from Dartmouth College and Stanford University, respectively.
