Emily Leidy is currently a consultant at SpecterOps. Prior to that, they were an associate, cyber threat lead at Booz Allen Hamilton from June 2017 to June 2021. Emily has also worked as an analyst in the office of the chief information officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from May 2016 to May 2017. In addition, they have interned at JOOR, where they worked with the company's online app and Excel, working with their retail team to help facilitate communication between the brands and the retailer, and at London & Norfolk Ltd, where they had exposure to the distribution, sales, and servicing of business insurance as well as insight into how insurance is used to manage risk.
Emily Leidy holds a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from the University of Virginia, where they specialized in public policy analysis. Emily also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Virginia in global security and justice. Prior to their studies at the University of Virginia, Emily Leidy earned a high school diploma from Norfolk Academy and an associate's degree in vocal performance from Trinity College London. Emily is also certified by CompTIA in Security + and by Red-Team Security as a Red Team Operator.
