Greg Peters

Greg Peters has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Greg is currently working at Spectra Logic as a Senior Manager, Sustaining Engineering, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they were the Hardware Manager, Sustaining Engineering at Spectra Logic from August 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Spectra Logic, Greg worked at Sundyne from 2008 to 2019. During their time at Sundyne, they held various roles including Applications Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for improving productivity and overseeing a team of Application Engineers. Greg also served as a Product Engineering Manager, leading cross-functional teams and managing production engineering, infrastructure, and sustaining engineering efforts. Prior to these management roles, Greg worked as a Senior Product Engineer, designing and testing centrifugal compressors and packages to customer and API specifications.

Greg's early career started at General Electric in 2006, where they initially worked as a Production Engineer, resolving production issues for reciprocating compressor product lines. Greg was later promoted to lead a team of international engineers in new product design, CAD, and Finite Element Analysis as part of the Edison Engineering Development Program.

Greg Peters holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from Marquette University between 2001 and 2005. Greg continued their education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, Greg earned a certification in Jira Boot Camp from Expium LLC in May 2022.
