Sanad Kawar, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sanad started their career in 2009 as an Undergrad Research Intern at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where they conducted research on network security and assisted in EEG experiments for Brain-Machine Interfaces.
In 2010, Kawar worked as a Home Automation Engineer at Accu Tech for a brief period before joining FNMS- Siemens Healthcare Partner as a Radiotherapy and CT Service Engineer. In this role, they performed maintenance, service, calibration, and installation of radiology equipment, including linear accelerator radiation therapy machines, CT machines, MRIs, and PET-CTs.
From 2012 to 2014, Kawar served as a Teaching Assistant at Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

Sanad Kawar, Ph.D., received their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Sanad earned a Bachelor's of Science degree from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in 2010. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in an exchange program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied for two semesters from 2008 to 2009.
After completing their bachelor's degree, Sanad pursued a Master's of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014.
Sanad further continued their academic journey by attending Santa Clara University, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2015 to 2020.
Additionally, Sanad has obtained several certifications in the field. In 2013, they received the Oncology Service Essentials certification from Siemens Healthineers, followed by CT Basic Certification and Siemens Syngo Certification in 2014, also from Siemens Healthineers.
