Jason Dwight

Jason Dwight is an experienced engineering professional specializing in imaging systems and hardware, currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Imaging Systems and Hardware at Spectral AI since July 2021, where supervision of a team of 11 engineers and oversight of medical device verification phases occurred. Previously, from May 2018 to May 2021, Jason held the role of Senior Imaging Systems Engineer at Spectral MD, Inc., contributing to a patented multispectral imager that secured a $92 million contract. Earlier, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rice University, Jason focused on designing and building snapshot hyperspectral imagers. Jason holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Rice University and a BS in the same field from Texas A&M University.
