Leo Hu

Leo Hu is an accomplished professional specializing in deep learning and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as a Deep Learning Data Scientist and Biomedical Engineer at Spectral MD since February 2020, Leo has a solid foundation in software development as demonstrated during an internship at Optum in the summer of 2019. Previous experience includes an undergraduate researcher role at the Photoacoustics Lab and an internship at Envisagenics, Inc. Leo also gained early research experience through internships at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Leo Hu holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a dual focus on Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from Duke University.
