Hisham Salem, PMP

Hisham Salem, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Their most recent role is as the Director of Program Management at SpectraWAVE, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Globus Medical, where they held several positions including Director of Program Management Office - Imaging, Navigation, Robotics from June 2018 to July 2021, Director of Product Development - Imaging from January 2017 to June 2018, and Group Manager, Program Management Office - Robotics from November 2014 to December 2016.

Before joining Globus Medical, Hisham worked at GE Healthcare, Specialty MR from 2009 to 2014. Their roles at GE Healthcare included Hardware Engineering Manager from December 2011 to October 2014, Engineering Project Manager / Program Manager from May 2010 to December 2011, and Site QA Leader at ONI Medical Systems, Inc. from November 2009 to April 2010.

Prior to their time at GE Healthcare, Hisham worked at ONI Medical Systems, Inc. from 2005 to 2009. Hisham held various positions during this period including Director, QA / RA from February 2009 to October 2009, R&D Program Manager from May 2007 to January 2009, Director, QA / RA from March 2006 to May 2007, and Engineering Project Manager from July 2005 to March 2006.

Hisham also has experience working at Astir Technologies, LLC as an Operations Consultant from November 2004 to July 2005, and at Aurora Imaging Technology, Inc. as a Hardware Engineering Manager from October 1996 to August 1998. Additionally, they worked at Advanced NMR Systems, Inc. as a Senior Electrical Engineer from May 1991 to September 1996, and at GTE Government Systems (Strategic Systems Division) as a Member Technical Staff - Electrical Design Test Engineering from June 1986 to April 1991.

Hisham Salem, PMP has a strong educational background in engineering and project management. Hisham holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management - Operations Research from Northeastern University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. In addition to their academic degrees, Hisham has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2014.
