Joel Harris

Joel Harris has over 18 years of professional experience. Joel began their career in 2002 in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician and a LABOP. In 2008, they joined Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA) as a Software Developer and Systems Administrator. In 2011, they joined T3 Solutions, LLC as a GEOINT Software Engineer. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Zapata Technology as a Senior Software Engineer, Deputy Project Manager, CASTLE KEEP Tech Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, they have been a Software Engineer at Spectric Labs since 2020, where they have implemented various web applications using Angular 12 and FastAPI, as well as GitOps/DevOps for multiple applications.

Joel Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science in IT - Software Emphasis from Western Governors University in 2017. Joel also completed Financial Peace University in 2010. Joel has obtained various certifications, including CompTIA Project+ in 2017, CIW JavaScript Specialist in 2016, CIW Web Design Specialist in 2015, CIW Web Foundations Associate in 2014, CompTIA Security (2008 edition) in 2010, CPR & AED in 2020, CompTIA Security+ in 2017, CompTIA Network+ in 2016, CompTIA A+ in 2015, and Sun Certified Associate for Java Platform, SE.
