Jeroen Craps

Jeroen Craps is an experienced Data Engineer currently with Spectricity since November 2022, focused on designing and building Big Data ETL pipelines for processing sensor data, alongside implementing coding standards and frameworks. Prior to this role, Jeroen held positions at FROOMLE as a Data Engineer/Data Scientist from March 2019 to October 2022, where skills in scalable recommendation platforms and analysis of AB-test results were honed. At Rombit, as a Junior Developer from October 2018 to March 2019, Jeroen developed an Internet of Things solution to enhance efficiency in the Port of Antwerp. Jeroen also served as Project Manager for a BASF project at KU Leuven, leading the creation of a Mixed Reality application while managing project resources. Jeroen holds multiple degrees from KU Leuven, including a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science. Academic background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Informatics and Engineering.
