Vic Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They began their career as an Advertising Sales Supervisor at The Indianapolis Star in 1998. They later became an Advertising Sales Manager at Indianapolis Woman Magazine/Weiss Communications Inc., where they were responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and securing advertising revenue. In 2003, they served as an Advertising Manager at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

Vic's experience in the news industry continued with roles at News & Record, where they served as a Key Accounts Executive, Local Retail Sales Manager, and Automotive & Real Estate Manager. They then joined The Charlotte Observer as an Automotive & Real Estate Advertising Manager and later became a Strategic Accounts Manager.

In 2017, Vic joined McClatchy as a Digital Revenue Manager, providing guidance to sales management and vendor partners to meet digital-only revenue objectives. They also served as a Director of Sales, leading a team of marketing consultants and creating media plans.

Currently, Vic is a Senior Director of Revenue Enablement at Spectrio, where they oversee the comprehensive training and development initiatives for the Sales team. They work to optimize processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Throughout their career, Vic has consistently displayed a strong focus on sales enablement and revenue growth, utilizing their expertise to enhance productivity and drive success within each role.

Vic Bowers obtained a B.A. degree in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington in the period from 1994 to 1998. They also completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Severna Park High School from 1990 to 1994.
