Mihai Bâlea

Mihai Bâlea is a seasoned UX professional currently serving as Senior Manager UX at Spectro Cloud and UX Design Practice Lead at Thinslices. As Co-Founder and Design Strategist at UX.Rocks, Mihai fosters innovation through Design Sprints and UX workshops, while actively building the UX community in Iasi through regular meetups. With extensive experience as a UX Consultant and Team Lead at Bytex Software Services, Mihai has successfully defined strategies, facilitated collaboration, and advanced design team capabilities. Previously, as UX Discipline Lead at Optymyze, Mihai improved team processes and mentored team members, while earlier roles at Synygy, Leadsoft, and as a Web Designer laid a robust foundation in UI/UX design. Mihai holds a degree from Gheorghe Asachi​ Technical University of Iași and has furthered expertise through the Interaction Design Foundation.
