Clare Deluce is an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a focus on substance misuse and complex health issues. Currently leading the Substance Misuse service at Spectrum Community Health CIC since December 2018, Clare employs autonomous, evidence-based clinical decision-making. Previously, Clare worked at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from July 2012 to December 2018, where responsibilities included managing acutely ill, multimorbid patients and contributing to diabetic care as a Diabetic Specialist Nurse. Clare holds an MSc in Advanced Practice from the University of Lancashire and has achieved Level 1 and Level 2 certifications in Substance Misuse from the Royal College of General Practitioners. Additionally, Clare designed an insulin prescription protocol implemented across the trust as part of the dissertation project.
