Damien Francou is a seasoned embedded software engineer with extensive experience in technology development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Spectrum Controls since August 2020, Damien focuses on creating Rockwell Automation and Allen Bradley-compatible industrial devices. Prior roles include Senior Application Engineer at Honeywell, where responsibility involved identifying relevant technologies in the AIDC space and participating in diverse projects like Android app development and IoT solutions. Additionally, Damien has held positions as Lead Engineer and Application Support Engineer at Intermec by Honeywell, contributing to scanning solutions for retail and healthcare markets, and as a Firmware Engineer at Swissvoice AG, Cylon Controls, and QFP Systems, focused on telecommunications and smart building energy management systems. Damien holds a Master's Degree in Engineering from Polytech Nice Sophia, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
