Daniel Gagnon is a System Test Engineer at Spectrum Controls since July 2023, formerly a Test System Development Engineer at OptoFidelity, where integration of software and hardware for automated testing of VR/AR devices was accomplished. Previous roles include Optical Research and Development Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, where sensor performance modeling and optical test automation were key responsibilities, and a summer internship as Mission Systems Engineer at NASA, focusing on control algorithms for motors. Early career experience includes research assistance at California State University-San Bernardino, where involvement in designing a low-cost scanning tunneling microscope occurred, and an internship at the California Space Grant Consortium, developing an Arduino-based project. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from California State University-San Bernardino (2015-2018).
