Carl Gatrell

Carl Gatrell has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Carl is currently an Associate Mechanical Engineer at Spectrum Engineers, where they started in March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Mechanical Project Engineer at the same company from September 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining Spectrum Engineers, Carl worked at Apogee Consulting Group, P.A. as a Mechanical Engineer from October 2018 to September 2019, and as a Mechanical Designer from May 2018 to October 2018.

Carl'searlier experience includes working at Spectrum Engineers as a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) and Revit Manager from May 2016 to May 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Mechanical Engineer Intern from August 2014 to May 2016, where they designed and drafted mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial buildings.

In addition, Carl gained valuable experience as a Process Engineer Intern at Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing - West. Carl worked in this role from May 2014 to August 2014, where they developed recovery processes, reprogrammed robots, and designed fixtures, tooling, and gauges.

Before that, they also worked as a Process Engineer Intern at the same company from June 2013 to August 2013, where they researched and developed recovery processes and worked with Inventor and Excel extensively.

Carl Gatrell pursued their education at the University of Utah from 2008 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications as a Professional Engineer - Mechanical from institutions such as the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Utah Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing, the California Department of Consumer Affairs, and the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. The specific dates of these certifications are as follows:

- Carl obtained the certification from the California Department of Consumer Affairs in October 2018.

- Carl obtained the certification from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and the Utah Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing in May 2020.

- Carl obtained the certification from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection in July 2022.
