Taylor Read

Taylor Read is an Emergency Medicine Resident at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospitals since June 2023 and previously completed medical training at the University of Pikeville from July 2019 to May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, where Taylor contributed to the BRIDGES Project, focusing on the cognitive effects of chemotherapy in women with breast cancer and diabetes. Additional roles encompass positions as Research Assistant II at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Medicine, and varied educational and volunteer experiences, including a Jumpstart Corps Member with AmeriCorps. Taylor holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Pikeville, a Master of Science from Boston University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University Chicago.
