Kurt Isaacson

Kurt Isaacson is the current CEO of Spectrum Health Systems. Kurt has been with the company since September 2010, when they started as the Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services. In August 2013, they were promoted to Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Kurt is responsible for orchestrating the resources of the organization, including clinical services and finance, to promote an atmosphere of customer service among staff, excellence in service delivery, insuring the provision of safe and dignified facilities for clients and staff, and employing sound business practices and aggressive utilization of services. Kurt represents Spectrum to various markets in which the organization operates and fosters positive public relations and promotes Spectrum's services. Kurt reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the senior management team. Kurt oversees the Division Directors for Community Based Services and at risk youth, as well as the Vice President of Human Resources and the Executive Vice President for Correctional Services. Kurt is responsible for ten direct reports and 1,000 FTEs.

Kurt has a long history of working in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Spectrum Health Systems, they worked at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as the Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of behavioral health services at the hospital. This included developing new programs, overseeing budgeting and staffing, and ensuring that all patients received high-quality care. Kurt was also responsible for representing the hospital to various external stakeholders and promoting its services to the community.
