Antonio Roberto Velardi

Antonio Roberto Velardi has extensive work experience in the medical field. Antonio Roberto is currently working as a Critical Care and Internal Medicine Physician. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Clinical Officer at Spectrum Medical Partners. From 2007 to 2021, they worked at Orlando Health, where they held various positions including Chief Quality Officer and Director of Critical Care Medicine. During their time at Orlando Health, they implemented a successful critical care model and integrated principles of safety and quality in the daily operations of the ICU. Before joining Orlando Health, they co-founded Sand Lake Hospitalists and Central Florida Inpatient Medicine, where they held the positions of Founding Partner and CFO. At Central Florida Inpatient Medicine, they played a pivotal role in expanding the company and managing various aspects of the business.

Antonio Roberto Velardi has a strong educational background in the medical field. Antonio Roberto obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Università degli Studi di Milano in 1984, specializing in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. Antonio Roberto went on to pursue further medical training, completing a General Surgery Residency Program at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 1987 to 1988. Following this, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mercy Catholic Medical Center from 1988 to 1991. Antonio also pursued a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Saint Louis University from 1991 to 1993. In 2016, they obtained a certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, becoming Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine.
