Alexis Johnson is an experienced executive in the field of programming acquisition, currently serving as Vice President of Programming Acquisition at Charter Communications since November 2016. Prior to this role, Alexis held the position of Vice President of Content Acquisition at Spectrum, previously known as Time Warner Cable, from 2007 to November 2016, and served as Senior Director of Programming during that time. Alexis also contributed to Verizon Communications as Director of Programming for FiOS TV between 2003 and 2007 and started a career in operations management and programming acquisitions at DIRECTV from 1993 to 2001. Academically, Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts in Communications Management from the University of Southern California, a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, and completed the NAMIC Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
