John D. Ross has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. John D. began their career at Burns Fry Limited, where they worked in Securities Lending & Borrowing from 1989 to 1991. John D. then joined Canadian Tire Corporation, where they served as the Manager of Strategic Data Analysis in the Retail Strategy Group from 1993 to 1996.
Following this, Ross worked at Canada Trust as the Director of Finance for the Customer Lending Business Unit from 1997 to 1999. John D. later took on the role of AVP Corporate Planning at Canada Trust from 1999 to 2000.
In 2000, Ross joined CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) as the VP of Central Planning & Analysis, a position they held until 2004.
Their career continued at MDS Inc. in 2006, where they served as the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis until 2007. Ross then transitioned to MDS Analytical Technologies, a division of MDS Inc., where they held the role of SVP Finance and CFO from 2007 to 2010.
Their most recent position was at Spectrum Health Care, where they served as the SVP and CFO from 2012 until an unknown date. Spectrum Health Care is a leading provider of home health care services in Ontario.

John D. Ross earned a B. Commerce (Honours) degree in General studies from the University of Windsor in 1988. John D. obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from an undisclosed institution from 1990 to 1992. In 1991 to 1993, they attended the Ivey Business School at Western University, where they acquired an MBA degree. Finally, in 2005 and 2006, they completed the Executive Program for Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification at an unspecified school.
