Pedro Chavez

Pedro Chavez has extensive experience in the field of software development and project management. Pedro is currently working as the Lead XR Engineer at Specular Theory, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to that, from January 2020 to August 2021, Pedro held the position of Project Manager and Lead Developer at Hyperkinetic Studios LLC.

Before joining Hyperkinetic Studios LLC, Pedro worked as a Senior VR Developer at Talespin from April 2017 to August 2019. Pedro also worked as a Software Engineer at Hyperkinetic Studios LLC from January 2016 to January 2017.

Pedro co-founded init & play in November 2014, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2016. Pedro also worked as a Software Engineer at Sony DADC from February 2014 to August 2014, leading the development of the PS4 port for The Last Tinker and creating core classes for PS4 development.

Pedro's earlier experience includes working as a Technical Director (games division) at Sony Pictures Interactive from November 2011 to February 2013, and as a Senior Flash Developer from July 2008 to November 2011 in the same company. Pedro also worked as a Freelance Developer at Deutsch in 2013, as well as Freelance Flash Developer at Deadline and Neoganda from 2007 to 2008.

Pedro Chavez attended The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a BS degree in Interactive Media.
