Jennifer Thorne

Jennifer Thorne has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Jennifer began their career at Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Program Director, overseeing staff and leading various aspects of the university program. Jennifer then joined Autism Therapeutic Services as a Clinical Director, where they developed strategies for sustainable growth and improved patient care. Jennifer also worked at Ouachita Baptist University as an Adjunct Professor, utilizing their expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis to teach and enhance the educational experience. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Speech Connections, LLC, where they manage company units, communicates with top leadership, and leads a team of directors and managers to improve processes and achieve strategic goals. Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to achieving success in their roles.

Jennifer Thorne has a comprehensive education background. Jennifer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Hofstra University from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Educational Assessment, Testing, and Measurement at Kean University from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Capella University from 2008 to 2012.

Additionally, Jennifer has obtained multiple certifications. Jennifer is a Licensed Behavior Analyst from the North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure Board since October 2023. Jennifer also holds a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Furthermore, Jennifer holds the designation of International Behavior Analyst (IBA) from the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO). Jennifer is also a Licensed Behavioral Analyst (LBA) certified by the North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure Board. In addition, Jennifer has earned the Organizational Behavior Management Specialist Level 1 certification from ABA Technologies, Inc. Lastly, they hold a certification as a Teacher of the Handicapped from Kean University.
