Benedetta Cevoli

Benedetta Cevoli has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. Benedetta began as an Intern at SISSA in 2017, then moved on to become a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Royal Holloway, University of London, also in 2017. Currently, they are a Data Scientist at Speechmatics\u00ae, a position they have held since 2021.

Benedetta Cevoli has a varied educational background. Benedetta completed a BSc in Psychological Sciences from Università degli Studi di Trieste between 2014 and 2017. In 2018, they completed an Erasmus+ KA1 Mobility Programme from Université catholique de Louvain. Benedetta then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Psychology/Computer Science from Royal Holloway, University of London between 2018 and 2022. In 2020, they attended a Summer School at University of Postdam, where they studied Statistical Methods for Linguistics and Psychology. In 2022, they attended a Summer School at KU Leuven, where they studied Law, Ethics & Policy of Artificial Intelligence. In 2018, they also attended a Winter School at International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), where they studied Quantitative Systems Biology: Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Benedetta Cevoli also has several certifications, including a Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity (obtained in 2021), a Natural Language Processing Nanodegree from Udacity (obtained in 2021), a Web Scraping for Social Scientists - A Practical Introduction from University of Essex (obtained in 2020), and an Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy from Higher Education Academy (obtained in 2018).
