Pracheta Phadnis

Pracheta Phadnis has been working as a Machine Learning Engineer and Speech Recognition Engineer at Speechmatics\u00ae since 2019. Pracheta also worked as an Intern at Speech Graphics in 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Infosys from 2014 to 2019 in two roles. As a Senior System Engineer, they led a small team of 3 members and identified critical use cases to enhance the SOAPUI automation framework which increased test coverage by 20%. Pracheta also maintained the framework by periodically updating to cover new functionalities. As a System Engineer, they streamlined quality analysis pipeline by automating the code deployment and database data backup processes. Pracheta also identified a critical bug in customer call mediation and rating process that directly affected the customer billing and prevented revenue loss for the client. Pracheta designed and built test-case automation suite for voice-call usage data mediation process substantially reducing manual effort.

Pracheta Phadnis obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai between 2010 and 2014. In 2013, they also obtained an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle. From 2018 to 2019, Pracheta Phadnis completed an Msc in Cognitive Science (School of Informatics) at the University of Edinburgh.
