Tom Deane

Tom Deane has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Tom is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at Speedata.io, where they lead the development of an advanced processor called the APU (Analytics Processing Unit) for efficient data analytics at scale. Prior to this, Tom held senior leadership positions at Cloudera, including Senior Director of Product Management and Director of Product Management. Tom also worked as a Senior Product Manager, leading cloud initiatives to increase the adoption of cloud products. Before joining Cloudera, Tom served as the VP of Product at Sense, Inc. and worked in Operations at Apple. Tom started their career as a Product Manager at NVIDIA, where they also held the role of Technical Marketing Manager. Overall, Tom Deane has a strong background in product management, cloud initiatives, and technical marketing.

Tom Deane earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, attending from 2002 to 2006. Tom then pursued an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the same institution from 2005 to 2007. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Harvard Business School and obtained an MBA.
